Favorelles are definatly a farm favorite! They have muffs, a beard, feathered feet, and five toes... what's not to love!
Salmon Favorelles were originally bred by the French for meat and eggs. Favorelles are very gentle, become affectionate with their handlers and do well with children.
Favorelles are considered to be a threatened breed by the Livestock Conservancy. They are an excellent sustainable heritage breed.
We breed toward APA standards and our roosters are directly from Sandra Provost who successfully breeds and shows these beautiful birds.
